We’re now very close to the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet next week on November 18th, and predictably some game-spoiling leaks have started to appear online. This particular leak appears to have come from someone who managed to get their hands on a copy of the game ahead of its official release date, though it’s unclear if this was a product of a retailer that missed the mark or if the game has been obtained through other means. This resulted in a whole host of spoiler-filled content being posted on Twitter and elsewhere, with details never revealed. All of this to say that if you want to tackle Scarlet and Violet completely fresh and knowing very little, then we recommend that you beware the old socials. Whether it’s muting keywords or temporarily unfollowing certain accounts, whatever you need to do to match the real-world equivalent of a Repel item, you should do it now. The spoilers follow the already extensive list of official Scarlet and Violet content reveals presented to us ahead of the game’s release. Whether it’s an official or unofficial source, avoiding spoilers right now is harder than walking along Route 3 without locking eye contact with another trainer. Of course, this is just the latest in a long line of high-profile releases that have leaked content ahead of launch. We’ve been avoiding Splatoon 3 spoilers since September, and just last week we learned that Sonic Frontiers content was popping up all over the place. All that to say, Pokémon spoiler season is once again upon us. Impact bracket. Here at Nintendo Life, we’ll only be reporting on official reveals, so you don’t have to worry about stumbling upon leaked material while perusing these pages. However, we know that even the details released by the Pokémon Company itself are already too much information for some Pokémon fans. If that’s you, you might want to be extra careful in those places too. We’ll do our best to point things out as best we can, of course. Hoping to go to Scarlet and Violet without spoilers?
