ORIGINAL: 6:50am A snow warning remains in effect this morning for Southern Interior highways. The Environment Canada notice is in effect for Coquihalla, Okanagan Connector, Hope-Princeton and Highway 97 (Clinton to 100 Mile House via Begbie Summit). Accumulations of 10 to 20 cm are forecast to continue, with further snowfall of 5 to 10 cm. Strong northwesterly winds are also creating snow conditions with limited visibility. A Pacific low pressure system southwest of Vancouver Island will continue to spread moisture across the southern interior this morning, Environment Canada says. Snowfall will gradually taper off during the day as the low moves further south. The warning also affects the Okanagan Valley, South Thompson, Nicola, Similkameen and Boundary regions as snow continues to fall and another 5cm is expected.
