After the 25-year-old Kasatkina failed to advance to the semifinals of the WTA Finals, she did not hide her disappointment. “Of course now I hate everything, I’m very disappointed, I don’t want to do anything.

But of course I have to be objective and I have to see that this season was the best in my career, especially after what happened a few years ago. Believe me, it’s better to live this bad moment I had now on the court than the one I had a few years ago off the court,” said Kasatkina, according to Eurosport.

Kasatkina pays tribute to Gerard Pique

Barcelona fan Kasatkina paid tribute to Pique, who announced his retirement from football. Kasatkina is represented by Kosmos, a sports management agency founded by Pique.
Reflecting on this, Kasatkina said Pique is “my kind of boss”. “Gerrard is obviously a Barcelona legend and he is one of the best players, for me, I think in the history of the club. Unfortunately it had to end in not the best way.

But he brought the club and the fans so many amazing memories. When I started following Barca, he was a player, so I remember him from the first days of supporting the club. I’m used to legends leaving Barca unfortunately. He’s had a great career and I wish him the best. He is also my boss because he owns the company that represents me. This chapter is closed, the next one will open. It’s probably very difficult for him now, but he’s a great figure and I think he’ll do well and I wish him the best,” Kasatkina said of Pique.
