District officials announced Seminole County Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

All after school activities on these days have also been cancelled.
Brevard County:
Brevard Public Schools will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, district officials said.

All Brevard County Public Schools and Offices will be closed Wednesday, 9/11 through Thursday, 11/10 due to Tropical Storm Nicole. Osceola County:
All Osceola County Public Schools will be out early Wednesday and closed Thursday.
Wednesday: Early dismissal on November 9 Thursday: Closed November 10 Friday: Closed November 11 (Veterans Day holiday) Monday: Classes resume on November 14th
The district reminds parents that Wednesday is already an early release day and that schools will now let out an extra hour early to ensure our students have time to get home safely. Officials said after school care, activities and events will end at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, when all schools and district offices will be closed. No employee of the Osceola School District shall report to work on Thursday unless instructed to do so by their supervisor. All schools and district offices will be closed on Friday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Classes are expected to resume Monday, Nov. 14, according to district officials. Parents and community residents are encouraged to monitor the district website and social media pages for any further school district updates. Parents will receive calls and text messages with updated information. As weather conditions are expected to worsen, all Osceola Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, November 10th. Parents are also advised that all schools will be dismissed one hour earlier than normal on Wednesday 9 November.
